This book interweaves academia and practical tips with personal narratives and artwork, and covers a broad range of topics such as trauma, dementia, corporate mental health and post-natal depression. Assistant Editor
Dawn Lim (She/Her) is a freelance writer, editor and researcher whose background is in architecture history and theory. She thinks about the world and the human condition through spatial narratives, typologies, mythology and the symbolic. Virginia Who is her sometimes-moniker for writing.
Publication Design
SWELL is a design studio based in Singapore, practising across multiple disciplines in the fields of branding, graphic design, publication design, advertising and photography. The studio works with clients across a diverse range of industries, giving shape to ideas which are progressive, relevant and authentic. Since its founding in 2012, SWELL has been published on design blogs, design annuals and publications, and awarded both locally and globally by the likes of the British D&AD, Type Directors Club New York, AIGA/Design Observer, Cannes Lions Festival and The Singapore Creative Circle Awards.
Digital Engagement & Design
Such A Mood (established 2018) is a branding and creative studio that specialises in servicing artistic initiatives and profiles. Their practice exercise principles of designing with empathy in arts and design management, marketing and branding – drawing from research in social behaviours and thought.
Illustration
Soo Yeon Bae (She/Her) is a hybrid Illustrator & visual designer with an art director background. She holds experience in the advertising world and has a strong passion for illustration. She believes that illustration is a powerful communication tool – explaining, persuading and highlighting the benefits, the weird little things that your product or service does.
